Wallingford walk, September 26th

Wallingford is a Saxon-fortified town which used to have one of the strongest castles in England before Oliver Cromwell ordered it to be torn down. Join us at 10.30 on Saturday 26th Sept for a walk around the Castle Gardens and Castle Meadows. Meet by Castle Street car park, OX10 8DL. Or join us for lunch around 1.00pm at Pizza Express, St Mary’s Street, Wallingford, OX10 0EW.

RSVP, by 23rd Sept if you wish to come to Pizza Express, so we can
confirm numbers, and by 25th Sept for the walk.

The nearest long-term parking is in Castle Street, Thames Street and
Cattle Market.

Wallingford. For those coming from Oxford, X39 leaves St Aldates at
09:50, reaching Wallingford Market Place at 10.19.

Pub Meets

Why not come and meet your fellow students at one of our monthly pub meets? The meets are on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Duke's Cut (formerly Rosie O’Grady’s) pub on Park End Street, Oxford. The committee have a brief meeting beforehand, and the pub meet gets going around 8pm. In the event that The Duke's Cut is closed, the meeting will be at The Oxford Retreat on Hythe Bridge Street.
